I was very, very captured at the beginning of the story. I liked the trope "falling for your brother's best friend" and all, so no complaints here. What I did not like, however, was the relationship between Everett and Stevie. It was very toxic and I felt really frustrated that she would return again and again and again and again...which in turn made her very unlikeable. I also hated her only emphasizing "as long as you stay with me" throughout the novel. It was imho apparently the only criterion for a good boyfriend which annoyed me greatly. I really liked Aiden and I wanted her to end up with him in the beginning. Later I hated the idea of them together as she treated him very badly and I just thought that he deserved better. I skimmed through the ending because I was just fed up with both of them.
