I savor Guy Gavriel Kay books for when I need an amazing work of fantasy literature and this month I started the Sarantine Mosaic duology. After only having read three books of GGK I am a total fan of his writing. The subtle way he builds his worlds and his characters, with beautiful language, is simply amazing to read. His "flowery" language is what seems to put a few people off, but I love it. Maybe it's because English is my second language. I don't want to go too deep into the plot, just get it if you like GGK's historical inspired series like The Lions of Al-Rassan, Tigana etc. This time the story is set in the Byzantine Empire.
