Description

Insgesamt hat mir Running Wild gut gefallen. Das Alaska-Setting konnte mich wieder komplett abholen und die Atmosphäre macht die Reihe für mich einfach besonders. Taylors Vergangenheit hat ihm als Charakter Tiefe gegeben, gleichzeitig hatte ich oft das Gefühl, dass er emotional nicht wirklich verfügbar war, was die Dynamik zwischen den beiden stellenweise schwierig gemacht hat. Der Slow Burn hat hier gut gepasst, allerdings hätte der Romance-Part für mich ruhig etwas mehr im Vordergrund stehen können. Der Fokus lag stellenweise sehr auf Maries Arbeit, was ich zwar interessant fand, wodurch aber etwas Tiefe in der Beziehung verloren ging. Ein paar Entscheidungen der beiden konnte ich vor allem gegen Ende auch nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Trotzdem kam die Chemie zwischen Marie und Taylor gut rüber und ich mochte es sehr, dass auch Charaktere aus den ersten beiden Bänden wieder eingebunden wurden. Insgesamt habe ich aber mehr etwas erwartet.
