Mal ein Thriller mit ungeheuer viel Action. Bereits nach den ersten paar Seiten wird man buchstäblich von der Spannung dieses Thrillers erfasst. Experimente am menschlichen Erbgut, um den Geist noch leistungsfähiger zu machen, sind in der Zeit von KI gefragter denn je. Doch was passiert, wenn das Ergebnis nicht so ausgeht wie erhofft. Der Plot ist schnell klar, allerdings sind die Wirrungen gut eingearbeitet und es bleibt lange interessant und auch fraglich, wer denn nun die guten oder die bösen sind. Rachel, welche unter ihren fehlenden Erinnerungen leidet und Sam, ehemaliger Elitesoldat, welcher den Verlust von Frau und Kind noch nicht verarbeitet hat, scheinen das perfekte Team zu sein. Zusammen auf der Flucht geraten sie in eine irrsinnig gefährliche Verfolgunsjagd, die von einem übermächtigem Ungleichgewicht der Kräfteverhältnisse beherrscht wird. Man fiebert gemeinsam mit dem Protagonisten in unzähligen Situationen nach den rettenden, scheinbar nicht existenten Auswegen.
