Von der ersten Seite weg hat mich die Geschichte gepackt und über alle drei Bände hinweg blieb sie spannend und mitreißend. Ich konnte das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen und bin nur so durch die Seiten geflogen. Besonders begeistert haben mich die unterschiedlichen Charaktere - Kingston, Locke, Puck, Ender und Brix. Jeder von ihnen hat seine eigene Persönlichkeit, seine eigene Stärken und Schwächen und zusammen ergeben sie eine dynamische, spannende Truppe, die man einfach ins Herz schließen muss. Auch die Hauptprotagonistin Wren hat mir gut gefallen. Sie ist staek, selbstbewusst und lässt sich von niemanden einschüchtern. Ihre freche, schlagfertige Art hat mich immer wieder zum schmunzeln gebracht. Insgesamt ist die Cresent Creek eine mitreisende Reihe voller Emotionen, Spannung und tollen Charakteren. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle die den Why Choose Trope lieben, eine starke Hauptprotagonistin mögen und intensive Geschichten lieben.
I would say I inhale every Tessa Hale book so far. I really love the why choose theme, that every story is a trilogy aaaaand that all stories are kinda linked due to 1-2 protas. Feels like a family 😭 Therefore, I'm kinda sad, that we have the final book here. I loved Wren as the FMC so much. She suffered so hard in her past and look at her now. Look. At. Her! Such a strong female who still knows how to love and obviously to handle her men 🤭 The guys are a solid 10/10 - as always. I would say: everyone will have a favorite. Mine is Kingston 🤤 I would have loved the story to be longer. I feel that the last third of the book was kinda rushed. I think one more book would be more logically for her powers and the final war. BUT I really enjoyed it anyway! I'm super curious for the next trilogy and I have a suspicion who one of the protas might be.
