This has to be one of the worst heroines I've read so far. Not only is she a selfish, privileged girl who ruined a family's life with her games no even when she's grown she's still a selfish idiot but in other ways than when she was younger. I tried to like her but she's such an idiot it's really hard. Here are the things that really made me mad and basically ruined the book for me even though the hero was amazing and too good for the h 1. Obviously the thing she did when she was 16. Yeah, yeah she was a teenager but still. Really can't get over that. 2. She believes two people's lies instead of talking to the man she loves who sacrificed SO MUCH for her. She believed her brother and Courtney KNOWING both are liars and manipulative. I assume this girl's braincell count doesn't even reach the 20s. She read the report about what happened with her brother and still spent so much time blaming the man she "loves" aka the actual victim in this story. 3. She's ungrateful. He did so much for her and sacrificed so much just for her to search for any reason to not trust him. Sorry but this girl doesn't deserve a man like him. I really don't know how he fell for a person like that. Stupid and selfish. It's really tragic. The Hero was good as I said though I hated how fast he forgave her. I love revenge stories but he got over it so quickly it was disappointing. Guess this proves how good he is. The h, Eileen and Fionn were the best characters while the heroine, the brother and Courtney are fighting to take the number one spot for the worst character in the book. (spoiler: Lydia is winning)
