Ja anscheinend verstehe ich Martha Grimes nicht. Die sprachliche Seite mag ich sehr gern, die Geschichten rund um die Protagonisten und wie sich diese verwandeln auch. Aber diese tausend Geschichten von irgendwelchen Nebendarstellern ist mir zu viel, damit wird das Buch zu langatmig und man kommt aus der eigentlichen Geschichte raus. Sehr sehr schade, ich habe die Reihe jetzt bis Band 13 trotzdem durchgezogen und würde auch gern wissen, wie sich das ein oder andere weiterentwickelt, aber noch ein langatmiges Buch mehr halte ich nicht aus ;-( mein Herz ist schwer 😰
