2.5 To me the book wasn't as bad as many reviews on here say because it was able to entertain me to a certain points. Still the book lacked in many things: There was almost no arc of suspense and even at the end of this books I have too many unanswered questions. I found lots of thing very confusing and the pulse is not making much sense to me. Also the evil side remains quite unspectacular and their motives are quite shallow. The characters weren't very interesting either, the only one I liked was Hawk, such a cute little boy. The in the premise announced love story was almost non-existent. The world-building and the idea behing was pretty interesting and one of the higlights for me. The writing style is ok and quick to read. Not sure yet if I will continue this series.
