A bit conflicted about this one. I really loved Hear the Wind sings. Murakami is still someone who can crafts an atmosphere like no other. I love how easy to read his story is and there is no plot to it, just vibes. But in Pinball i really dont like how he writes about every woman that takes part in the story. I heard it was a common theme for Murakami to really only focus on the body (mostly the breast) of the woman, but to not give a single woman a name and just talk about them like theyre just some accessoire to the story idk... In Hear the Wind sing, this wasnt such an issue or i just didnt recognise it, but in Pinball that really bothers me.
