Der Schreibstil war locker und flüssig, damit hat sich das Buch sehr gut lesen lassen. Mickey ist für mich von Anfang an sehr mysteriös und sie bleibt rätselhaft bis zum Schluß. Der Anfang des Buches war ja schon sehr interessant und man fragt sich direkt wo man hineingezogen wird. Mickeys Vergangenheit ist interessant und ich bin wirklich auf den zweiten Band schon gespannt. Pike ist für mich der typische Bad Boy, krumme Geschäfte aber er hat schon einen gewissen moralischen Kompass. Seine Vergangenheit ist auch nicht ohne & man erfährt nebenbei auch so einiges. Pike ist mir trotz seiner Art sympathisch, man merkt das es da mehr unter der Oberfläche gibt. Das Cover ist toll und passt zu den anderen Büchern rund um die King Reihe ❤ Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne und eine klare Kauf und Leseempfehlung.
