Ein weiterer cozy Crime aus Lake Eden. Das Buch hat mich gut unterhalten, auch wenn einiges etwas übertrieben wurde, vor allem, wenn es um Katze Moishe geht. Trotz Mord ein Wohlfühlbuch. Nur das Ende, als es wieder um Hannah und ihre beiden Männer geht, hat mich wirklich genervt. Auf diesen Handlungsstrang hätte die Autorin für mich gerne verzichten können. Aber sonst mag ich die Reihe gerne.

Der 6. Fall für Hannah Swensen ist wieder sehr spannend. Anfangs passiert nicht soo viel, da Hannah‘s Partnerin Lisa heiratet und die ganze Stadt zur Feier kommt. Doch dann findet Hannah im Konkurrenz-Café gegenüber ihre „Rivalin“ ermordet. Da jeder weiß, dass Hannah diese nicht leiden konnte, rückt sie schnell ins Licht der Ermittler. Ihr bleibt also wieder nichts anderes übrig als zu ermitteln. Mir gefällt es sehr, dass das Verhältnis zu ihrer Mutter Delores in diesem Band endlich besser wird. Aber der Cliffhanger am Schluss lässt einen direkt den nächsten Band kaufen🤯
Sehr gemütlich, aber kurzweilig
Ich habe diese Serie durchaus gerne zwischendurch. Auch wenn das Frauenbild ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen ist - aber wer weiß, vielleicht sind Amerikanerinnen in der Kleinstadt ja wirklich noch so altmodisch. Schön finde ich es daher, dass Hannah nicht so ist und ihren Weg als selbständige Unternehmerin gehen möchte. Der Mordfall als solches ist kein Thriller, aber nett geschrieben und die Rezepte zwischendurch sind auch wirklich reizvoll.
