This was a little weird. I did NOT expect to read a book in this series where the MMC is the sex slave to the FMC. It was a fun little story for sure, it just really weirded me out, from time to time, how everyone except the FMC actually viewed the thralls as objects. One of them literally said that they don't have emotions like other humans and just forget things. But that issues was part of the story, so I don't hate it, and it's not like it's completely unrealistic for humans to become bad like this... Their romance was pretty cute. I wish he hadn't fallen for her so fast, though, that part was just too unrealistic. I don't think even Stockholm Syndrome would work this fast!
