Hello Bücherfreunde, ich konnte nicht anders als Highest bidder - owned einfach zu verschlingen. ;) Das Buch hat mir bisher am besten aus der Reihe gefallen, aber fangen wir von vorn an. Durch die Vorstellung von Joseph Levi in Buch zwei der Reihe war ich zuerst nicht überzeugt, dass ich Teil drei der Reihe gut finden würde. Weil er mir zu düster und zu brutal rüber gebracht wurde. Aber tatsächlich fängt das Buch mit einer Szene an, die ich nur allzu gut kenne. Unsere weibliche Protagonistin liest in etwa genauso gern Smutty Romance Books wie wir. ;) Sie war auch die erste Frau in dieser Reihe die kein sexuelles Trauma aus ihrer Vergangenheit mit sich herumschleppt und BDSM einfach nur ausprobiert, weil es sie interessiert und sie Spaß daran hat. Mit Joseph bin ich dann doch noch warm geworden, weil seine Vergangenheit tatsächlich düster war, er diese aber Lilly gegenüber nicht versteckt hat und das ganze vor allem im zweiten Teil des Buchs für mehr Spannung gesorgt hat. Und irgendwie ist er mir durch Lilly's Schwärmerei jetzt doch tatsächlich ans Herz gewachsen. Die zwei sind bis jetzt auf jeden Fall mein Lieblingspaar aus der Reihe und ich kann Teil drei auf jeden Fall für eine kleine Ablenkung zwischendurch empfehlen.
