No matter our orientation, to live is to experience suffering at some point. I would love to give 2.5 stars but unfortunately, there’s still no half-star rating here on Goodreads! It wasn’t exactly a 2 stars books but it’s not worth 3 stars, either. What I disliked the most were the constant comparisons to Michelle Kwan and figure skating in general (just because I know nothing about it and therefore didn’t entirely understand what he was on about). Adding to that, his sixth-grade report on Bill Clinton was unnecessary and seemed a little bit out of place. I appreciate it that he openly talked about some serious topics, such as HIV. However, I just didn’t enjoy the writing. The book was okay but not outstanding.
