had to DNF at the half. this didn´t worked for me - yes somehow it includes everything you could dream of in an manga, anime or an videogame - but it doesn´t work well in a book. besides, I don´t know if it has to do something with finding joy in reading this, but for me personally it is hard to read a far east asian themed novel written by an british author (even if it is fantasy). reading books from kuang, parker-chan, liu or wen-zhao give me total different vibes. huge shoutout to felix ortiz for one of the best book covers i´ve ever seen. outstanding art!
