Author Dash runs away from his uncaring author parents and his perfect Author boyfriend to work as an assistant for well-known author Vivienne in Hastings Rock. Said well-known author ends up dead, a day after Dash gets the job and who is now the prime suspect. While it partially felt like a cozy to-do list, checking off every must-have in that genre it did deliver a well-thought out setting and interesting, and very quirky characters and a well paced plot in a Gregory Ashe writing style. I definitely enjoyed it.
