𝑴𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒚 ⛰️ I wanted to read this book for a long time, but was always afraid that I wouldn't like it. But damn, this book consumed me right from the first few pages until the last and i had the best time reading this book. 🤭 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒂 and 𝑳𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 have a steamy one night stand, and neither expect to see each other again. When Luther goes to his best friends for breakfast and to meet his daughter, the last person he expects to see is Kenny aka Kendra.😶‍🌫️ Even after knowing that they couldn't be together, they kept thinking about each other all the time. “𝑾𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒅 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒂. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒕. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒖𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑.” I love their chemistry so much an the tension was tensioning! They have to sneak around to avoid getting caught. 💥 “𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏’𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕. 𝑰 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒏, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒌 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒊𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒆.” 𝑳𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 "𝑹𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒚 "𝑹𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒅, he remembered the tiniest things about 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒂 and what she liked, he was always so worried about her safety and was really a gentleman! BUT he might be all sweet, but in the bedroom, it's all get on your knees! 🫠 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒂, is such a gentle and lovely person! She´s been through a lot but she does have a strong confidence. They have both been through it in life and dealt with more than emotional pain and this makes the story so relatable and tangible! Kendra´s Dad is such a funny sidecharacter! Might be one of my favourite of hers, i love the author for a good, smutty palette cleanser. Made me blush, made me laugh, made me think about love.

Leider hat mir der zweite Teil der Mountain-Men-Reihe nicht so gut gefallen. Der Einstieg war gut und ich kam auch schnell durch mit der ersten Hälfte, aber irgendwie habe ich absolut keine Verbindung zwischen den Charakteren gespürt und auch die Liebesgeschichte der Hauptcharaktere hatte bei mir keinerlei Emotionen geweckt. Die zweite Hälfte des Buches war für mich sehr schleppend und ich habe es dann eher aus Zwang zu Ende gelesen. Da es mein erstes Buch war in dem es um einen „Daddy-Kink“ geht musste ich während dem Lesen feststellen, dass dieser Trope eher nichts für mich ist. Age-Gap Themen wiederum mag ich. Was Luther anging, war er mir für sein Alter auch einfach nicht reif genug in seiner Denkweise und seiner Art. Da mir der erste Band wahnsinnig gut gefallen hat, werde ich schauen um welches Thema und um welche Charaktere es in Band 3 gehen wird und dann entscheiden, ob ich die Reihe beenden werde!
