I liked this one a lot less than the ones before. Misguided Angel is divided in three parts which are all written from a different POV. But instead of the usual three POVs, Bliss was nowhere to be seen and was replaced by a new character. I like this new character and her romance was possibly the best of all the romances portrayed so far. Still, it annoyed me that we got huge chunks of story told from one single POV until we were transported to the next. I liked the mixed telling a lot better. A lot of this book also felt rather irrelevant plot wise too. We learned a few small bits of information and got the development of a new friendship that looks promising but otherwise, I don't feel like we have advanced much. All in all, even if I enjoyed her POV, I think Deming's POV was unnecessary and didn't tell us much, especially not anything that Schuyler couldn't have learned. Still, I hope that we get more of her POV going forward. Lastly, I'm very fed up with the world building. I never liked the idea of vampire twins being romantic soulmates even though the book puts much focus on the fact how "vampire families aren't really families in the human sense". Even more does it annoy me then when such a rule that was deeply cemented and with heavy plot relevance gets disregarded later with the introduction of two same-sex twin pairs who are apparently just "normal twins". The introduction last book could have been overlooked at first because they weren't important enough to the plot that I thought their romantic involvement was just implied not shown, but Deming spends a lot of her POV stressing how she is unbonded and talking about her twin sister as a normal twin sister with a normal platonic relationship.
