Doch er ist nicht irgendein Mann, sondern der Sohn eines ihrer engsten Freunde, was alles noch komplizierter macht. Zwischen Machtspielen, Emotionen und verbotener Anziehung geraten beide immer tiefer in etwas hinein, das sie eigentlich vermeiden sollten. Ich muss sagen, mir hat das Buch nicht so gut gefallen. Klar, die beiden haben irgendwie zusammengepasst und die Dynamik war an sich interessant, aber die spicy Szenen waren einfach nicht so meins. Ich konnte damit nicht richtig warm werden und dadurch hat mich die Geschichte insgesamt weniger gepackt. Maggie and Beau’s story was really interesting and a bit “deeper” than the others so far… They both struggle with different things but find out throughout the book that they are compatible in more than just one way ❤️🩹 I really really loved this book as well but there was still something missing for me and I don’t know what it is (which kinda bugs me) 🥴 And because I don’t know what I didn’t like about it, I’m gonna focus on the things I did like hehe - I love the whole sexual dynamic between them and I also think it’s great for the story that Maggie is older than Beau. But my absolute favourite thing about “Mercy” were the scenes with Beau and Charlie’s sister Sophie. Their relationship is one of the sweetest things ever and I absolutely ADORE Sophie 😫 Please check out “Mercy” if you like your women a little more dominant and your men a little more submissive 😮💨
