Taichi Hiraga-Keaton, Vater japanischer Zoologe, Mutter englische adelige Geschäftsfrau, Dozent für Archäologie an einer japanischen Uni und Versicherungsermittler für eine englische Versicherung, ehemaliger Elitesoldat in der SAS. An der Uni ein ganz normaler Dozent, dessen Unterricht allerdings öfter mal ausfällt wegen seiner anderen Tätigkeit. Jedes Kapitel behandelt einen in sich abgeschlossenen Fall, das soziale Drumherum baut aufeinander auf. Immer, wenn Keaton einen Fall für die Versicherung untersucht, kommt ihm seine militärische Ausbildung zugute. Da glaubt man, jetzt geht der Indiana-Jones-Verschnitt auf Abenteuertour und bekommt manchmal schon fast MacGyver geliefert, so wie Keaton improvisiert 😅 Mitunter kommen auch ganz leichte James-Bond-Vibes auf, finde ich. Jedenfalls eine interessante Mischung 😄 Action, Abenteuer, tragische Momente und wie es scheint, kann man noch das eine oder andere lernen. Bin gespannt, was für Fälle im nächsten Band auf Keaton warten und ob er und sein Vater ihre Ex-Frauen zurückerobern können.
