Literally how is this a Christmas book? There's no Christmas in it. I still liked it but I definitely preferred the first half of the book since my enjoyment kinda died down towards the end. I really liked Erica and honestly think she deserved better. I liked Abby but she also did some things that made me dislike her. Abby just did a lot of things or had thoughts that made her seem kinda selfish. But it obviously wasn't bad enough for me to dislike the book. I tend to really enjoy books with single moms and this was no exception. Kayla was a great kid. I also really liked Ericas mom. Honestly hated Abby's friend Stacy. The pacing was a little weird, especially in the latter half, and I had no idea how much time had passed exactly, since there isn't much of like "two days later" or "a week later".
