Aisling has been raised her whole life to one day become the empress of Amersean. But her land is at war and one of the ways to become stronger is to bond to a powerful creature in The Wilds. What nobody talks about? Only around 5% come out alive. I've really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. I stayed up all night till 2 am on a work day just to finish it. The world and the characters really pulled me in and I enjoyed the chemistry between Aisling and Kohen. I will 100% read book 2 and can't wait to see how this series continues.
