I bought this book with the intention to get to know the styling habits of Lauren Conrad (or her team) better. I didn't bought it because I thought that it will be an awesome guide for myself. That is why I'm not disappointed . The book is well-written and I enjoyed looking at the pictures. Nevertheless it is only a lifestyle book. It is by no means as compelling as a novel. So when I buy a book like Style my intention is to be entertained for a few hours and to get a new beautiful coffee table book.
