Re-read March 2026. Don't know what put me in the mood - is the second part out yet? I remember that I had problems with the pacing, and while they're still there I just really like Lake and Ryker, flaws and all.

Irgendwie konnte es mich weder packen, noch konnte ich aufhören zu lesen. Ich mochte tatsächlich Lake und Ryker sehr gerne. Die Dynamik und die Geschichte, aber ich hatte die ganze Zeit das Gefühl das irgendwie was fehlt. Und anscheinend wird ihre Geschichte in einem folgenden Buch weitergeführt. Das merkt man leider am Ende. Aber an sich eine solide Geschichte.

Loved the dynamic between the two main characters. And as always the writing is great. But I didnt like that this is a duology. And the stepbrother plot feels a bit unnecessary.
