Yet as before, he is assailed by those who see his schemes as a cynical quest for power, including the night elf Maiev Shadowsong, his former jailor. Warden Shadowsong and her Watchers have pursued the Betrayer to Outland to exact retribution for his crimes, and she will not rest until Illidan is in her custody . . . or in his grave.

Doch dieses Buch erzählt seine Geschichte aus einer anderen Perspektive: die eines Wesens, das bereit war, alles zu opfern, um Azeroth vor der Legion zu schützen. Zwischen Dämonen, Magie, Schuld und fanatischer Entschlossenheit folgt man Illidans Weg voller innerer Kämpfe, radikaler Entscheidungen und der Frage, ob das Ziel jedes Mittel rechtfertigt. 🔮⚔️🔥 💬 Meine Meinung: Das Buch hat mir Illidan deutlich nähergebracht. Seine Zerrissenheit, sein Stolz und seine Opferbereitschaft werden sehr intensiv dargestellt. Besonders gefallen hat mir, wie moralische Grauzonen aufgezeigt werden – nichts ist einfach nur gut oder böse. Stellenweise war die Geschichte etwas schwerer und lorelastig, was für WoW-Fans großartig ist, aber manchmal den Lesefluss gebremst hat. Trotzdem bleibt die Atmosphäre durchgehend düster, mächtig und emotional. 🖤👁️ ✨ Mein Fazit: „Illidan“ ist ein starkes Buch für alle World-of-Warcraft-Fans, die die Geschichte hinter dem Mythos verstehen wollen. Episch, tragisch und tief – mit kleinen Längen, aber insgesamt absolut lesenswert. 🔥⚔️💚
