2,5* Die Prämisse des Romans klingt wirklich spannend, und das, was passiert (+ die Folgen), ist mit der Vorgeschichte von Michael auch nachvollziehbar und traurig, aber dafür, dass der Buchrücken sagt ,,so spannend, dass man fast vergisst zu atmen", bin ich enttäuscht. Es fühlte sich an, als wäre die erste Hälfte einfach unwichtig - die Vorgeschichte hätte kürzer dargelegt werden können, sodass das Nachspiel mehr in den Vordergrund gerückt wäre, denn Michaels und Joshs Wissen um die Geschehnisse ist ja schon interessant und lässt einen Konflikt erhoffen. Ich bin schon froh, dass ich nicht mittendrin aufgehört habe, denn so habe ich noch mitbekommen, worum es eigentlich geht. Allerdings war ich oft gewillt, das Buch einfach wegzulegen und etwas Neues zu beginnen. Schade!
