I genuinely have no idea how people enjoy this. Had I been reading this physical I would have DNFed. I was so close to ripping my own hair out while listening to this. Dakota must be the most annoying character I've ever read about. And sadly the voice the Narrator used for her was also extremely annoying. I literally hated her so much. All she talked about was her gay ex husband and how incredible he was. Girl you sure you're not still into him? Cause I wouldn't talk like that about an ex otherwise. Mentioning it once or twice, fine. But she brought it up every 5 minutes. And how many times do they need to talk about how gorgeous Dakota apparently is?? Surely not every 2 minutes. The romance (if you can even call it that) wasn't believable or developed either. All they did was have sex. Genuinely despised everything about this book, so I sadly don't have anything positive to say.
