Description
Vampire Zoltan Czakvar is on the hunt for the truth about his father's death. He's been searching for a very long time—since 1241, in fact. And he is not about to give up, even when he's attacked by a woman with striking blue eyes and a hell of a right hook!
Neona is also on the hunt. She's looking for a mate and she thinks muscled Zoltan will work just fine. After all, men are good for only one thing. Soon, though, she realizes there's more to this handsome vampire than just sexual prowess. But she's keeping a secret from Zoltan, something so big that it will rock the vampire world.
Can their newfound love survive . . . even if their passion means the destruction of her world?

Not sure if it is the book or me by this point... I came back to this series after a long pause, still trying to get my reading groove back... Maybe it was nostalgia, but I loved this series before. For me it was a funny vamp world, with cute and happy dialogues. These books made me laugh. They were a lighthearted good read. But this book was not funny. I could not get into it. The characters had potential but they stayed very flat, their lovestory was laughable insta-love, two pages in it was "destiny and love ever after". Fast and Furious Style loving here. The man-hating amazons got tiresome real fast. There was no fun lovely spark in the dialogue. I liked the bears best, cause they brought some lighthearted fun into an otherwise boring lovestory. And the end? Really?? Pregnant that fast? I am no doctor here, so maybe the bloodtests could be acurate? But moodswings, hormonal emotions, and change of appetite? That was way fast.... I don't mind the new characters, or the new fanatsy lore. The development of the main story arc was interesting. Generally the writing style is still easy and flowing. The reading in itself was nice and easy, just the content of said reading was tiresome... Maybe getting back to old loved worlds is not the best action to get back into reading...
