This is a great read and continuation of downfall and the motivation of Horus. The revelation at the end wasn't that surprising, but I still hold my breath.

And there it goes. The story continues with Graham McNeill who puts a focus on the least interesting parts of this book. What always stood out to me- especially in the story of Horus's corruption was the HOW and WHY- like Horus Rising explores. New characters come and go with a rapid pace and Horus acts unreasonable and very confusing at times. Magnus did nothing wrong. The story is...disjointed, focused on the back and forth of how the word bearers begin to corrupt Horus but also tells of the nurgle corrupted moon. I don't know, I think after reading this one I may even give Horus Rising a better score. The author change is noticeable.
