Description
Lots of twins have a special connection - being able to finish each other's sentences; sensing what the other is thinking; perhaps even knowing when the other is in trouble or in pain - but for 12-year-old twins, Matt and Emily Calder, the connection is beyond special. Ein sicherlich spannendes Buch, aber für die Zielgruppe ab acht über weite Strecken zu grausames Buch mit so abgedroschenen Rollenklischees, wie ich sie seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr erlebt habe. Das Mädchen immerzu vernünftig und ängstlich, der Zwillingsbruder ideenreich und mutig - da hätte ich einfach mehr erwartet.

Hat mich nicht so gecacht. Story ist an und für sich interessant, aber es fühlte sich so an als ob keine der Figuren für mich richtig real wurde. (Lustig, in einer Fantasy Welt, in der Bilder lebendig werden.) Der Schreibstil und der plötzliche Zeitsprung könnten daran schuld sein. Jedenfalls hatte ich das Gefühl, ich hätte alle schon besser kennen müssen, als dann die ersten dramatischen Dinge passieren.
