Diesmal ist sind die Entscheidungen, die Kimmie treffen muss, wirklich eine Qual. Gleich am Anfang muss sie drei der letzten fünf Kansidaten nach Hause schicken. Doch inzwischen kennt sie alle so gut, sie hat ihre Familien kennengelernt und alle sind ihr ans Herz gewachsen. Tatsächlich liebt sie alle Fünf, nu jeden ein bisschen anders. Leider heißt es hier nicht: why choose - sehr schade eigentlich. Die beiden Drachenwandler Fenix und Flare, Dämon Ryder, Faeprinz Elrian und Engel Cillian. Die letzten beiden Kandidaten verbringen nun ihrerseits Zeit mit Kimmies Familie, die nichts von der Welt der Supernaturals ahnt. Dabei überschlagen sich die Ereignisse und letzte Geheimnisse kommen ans Licht. Wie schon bei den vorherigen Bänden hatte ich auch hier jede Menge Spaß. Das Tempo ist schnell, die Handlung immer wieder überraschend, aber keinesfalls zu komplex. Zum Wegbeamen nach einem anstrengenden Arbeitstag perfekt. Kimmie ist eine sympathische Protagonistin, die meisten der Junggesellen, die noch im Rennen sind, finde ich ganz zauberhaft, ebenso wie das Styling-Dreamteam Bash und Trixie.
The book starts of with the decision which of the 5 bachelors of book 3 will be the 2 finalists. After the decision was made, Kimmie-Jayne was flown out to introduce her finalists to her family in the human world where she then needs to decide if she is going to tell her family that both her bachelors are supes or will she choose to stay quiet and wait until the show is done filming to tell them? In the end her decision is partially taken from her due to some unfortunate events which in turn bring some well-kept secrets to light, changing Kimmie-Jayne`s life forever. I love G.K. DeRosa`s lighthearted writing style, it is easy to follow and fun to read. Also, I loved the Hitched series as it is a completely new spin on the famous TV-show the Bachelorette paired with magic and mystery. I`m giving the last book of the series 4 stars. It is a great read, though I feel it was the weakest of the 4 books and I can`t put a finger on it, but I feel that it was missing something the other books had, maybe a little more excitement, I`m honestly not sure what it was that gave me this feeling. Nevertheless, I loved the book as it was well written like its predecessors and it was a delight to have such a beautiful ending with no sore losers, but a lot of friendships that developed in the process and we get to partially experience in the spin-off series Darkblood Academy.
