Thanks to netgalley and Loveswept for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I did enjoy this book, it had an interesting premise and the couple was really working well together. At first, I couldn't really connect with Gabriella or Tyson and there wasn't so much chemistry as the attraction was built on their past together. The couple really grew on me and I enjoyed their time together. I really had difficulties understanding Gabriella in several situations. One big issue is that she never questioned her dad's "work". She knows he is the biggest criminal in Detroit but still she isn't even thinking there's something not ok with it. The writing style was good to read and I might read more books by this author.
