A cruel masterpiece that left me in awe!

3.5

Hmmm… i don‘t know how to sum it up🤷🏼‍♀️

I was engrossed in it. Even though i didnt like the actions of close to anyone in the book. The characters are repulsive (somteimes) and i only liked two, maybe three at all times. But the story is written very well and the characters are supposed to be not only morally grey but close to black. They all have their own intrivate backstory and motivation for actions and it plays together very well. I‘m a bit torn with the rating i gave it. I think the rating went down for some character arcs i didnt like and my frustration with a big plotpart of the story because it reduced my enjoyment even thou it didnt reduce my emotional involvement. So to be fair my rating SHOULD be far higher. And i am inclined to change it in a few days when the adrenaline has worn off a bit 😂 Its a dark story about reaching for your dreams/revenge and finding yourself/getting to know different parts of oneself.
