this book is great! people who saw the show get a closer look into the making and development of the show. people, like me, who just hear about it and can't see the show because we are not anywhere near NYV-where-it-happens, can get all the infos through the book to understand the 'audio book' of songs better. and god, the photos....the photographer is a genius!
I enjoyed every minute reading this book. When I first got it, I thought I would never read it and just keep it as a trophy (haha), but picking it up was the best experience. I played and stopped the songs, read the notes, laughed, cried and told my boyfriend every little detail I soaked in (oh, he’s so lucky). Absolutely loved it!
I think this is a great addition for the fans of Hamilton or for people that are at least familiar with the songs. Since I am neither (no, I don't live under a rock), this is interesting in terms of getting some background about the musical theater world and the process of conception and implementation of a show. I listened to the audio version that comes with the annotated lyrics book in PDF.
