Ever since I was small, Anne Frank had a certain fascination for me. As I saw this book in the shelfs of our book shop, I bought it and expected a Biographie. But it was more. Written novel like it makes it interesting to read and not dull like some biographies and yet with the ongoing story it feels kind of heavy. Although I knew how it ends, I wanted to keep reading. It doesn't just bring you closer to the story of Anne Frank's surrounding and hiw her Diary was created and the time after but it also brings you closer to the generell live of a family who was affected by the Holocaust. How they felt about it and what they did to make their life the best it can be. The only small critic point I do have is that the english letters are not translated. I read this in german and while I personally have no problem with english, older persons who may be interested in reading it could have. But except of that, I found it amazing - as amazing as such a story can be.
