Review This is my first time reading Kristy Marie, and I'm definitely a new fan!Gorgeous is the second, stand-alone book in Kristy Marie's Commander in Briefs series. I haven't read the first book, but I am going to download it as soon as I can because I really enjoyed Gorgeous. It's fresh, funny, steamy and emotional with a sassy heroine and a grumpy, sexy hero.Your heart hurts for Breck and Cade, because they have both lost people dear to them and are still deeply affected by their passing, especially Cade. Breck is intent on helping him, but he's resistant to anything she offers. Well, he tries to resist her! Their push-and-pull dynamic is fun and cranks up the sexual tension to fan-yourself-worthy levels. They're adorable together with great chemistry and a snappy repartee. To say my emotions were on a rollercoaster ride from one page to the next would be an understatement. I really loved Cade and Breck. They have a delicious enemies-to-lovers vibe that perfectly sets the stage for an epic romance. It's written in duel perspective with a storyline that's face paced and original. The teasers I saw promised readers a super sexy romance, and without a doubt, Kristy Marie accomplished that feat. Gorgeous was a mouthwatering slow burn romance that left me on the edge of my seat. It's book two in Kristy Marie's Commander in Briefs series and can be read as a complete standalone. As much as I loved Cade and Breck, the group of discharged soldiers who are part of Anniston and Cade's project are what made this book so incredibly fantastic and their books cannot come fast enough. The camaraderie and dynamics of all the characters were 100% realistic and I guarantee you won't be able to put it down! Do not waste another minute waiting to buy this book.
