Sweet read for the holidays
I loved the holiday vibes and the characters were fun and all. I am just not much of a pure romance reader and I feel like it therefore takes a lot more for a romance book to make me LOVE it. This book was an easy read and obviously perfect for the holiday season. The romance was super sweet and I gotta admit I adored how Nolan adored Harriet. 🫶🏻 I liked Harriet’s character development a lot. But I feel like the conclusion at the end did fall a little flat. (Although I know that since this is primarily a romance this is not really where the focus is placed).
Etwas langsam am Anfang aber fesselnd nach der ersten Hälfte!
Die erste Hälfte war etwas zäh und auch sonst fiel es mir schwer, mich in einen lebenslangen People pleaser hineinzuversetzen- Die zweite Hälfte fand ich dann sehr stark und das Christmas Setting hat toll zur Jahreszeit gepasst, war aber nicht sehr zentral für die Geschichte. Dennoch hat es mich besonders auf den letzten 180 Seiten sehr gefesselt und war ein wirklich schöner Christmas Read !
Das war so ein tolles Buch für die Weihnachtszeit. Und die Idee war sehr innovativ und richtig gut umgesetzt. I mean … er ist der Geist der vergangenen Weihnacht? Ich hab alles an dieser Idee geliebt. Auch den Schreibstil fand ich einfach nur toll. Der letzte Funke hat zu einem Highlight gefehlt, aber trotzdem ist es eine große Empfehlung.
Die 3 Geister der Weihnacht mal anders
Ich war früher schon immer großer Fan der Geister in jeglicher Art und weise. Auch in diesem Buch mal ganz anders interpretiert hat es mich begeistert. Es war nicht von vornherein klar, warum er ihr überhaupt zugewiesen wurde. Sie war doch eigentlich ein guter Mensch. Bis zum Schluss hat man gerätselt was sein könnte. Auch das ende hat nicht enttäuscht. Es war super emotional und herzergreifend.
