In Band 3 der Reihe besuchen wir die Anderswelt, aus der die fantastischen Geschöpfe stammen, von denen einige in den bisherigen Bänden schon vorkamen. Eine Gruppe dieser Geschöpfe plant Böses, und Jackaby und Co. versuchen herauszufinden, was sie vorhaben. Dieser Band hört mit einem Cliffhanger auf, lässt sich somit nicht separat lesen. Mit jedem Band blicken wir tiefer in die Gefühle der Hauptfiguren, was mir gefällt. Man lernt sie immer besser kennen und lieben. Auch ist immer etwas los, es geht von einer spannenden Szene zur nächsten. Und dennoch ist auch dieser Band kein Pageturner für mich, ich konnte es jederzeit weglegen. Ich weiss nicht, woran es liegt. Vielleicht einfach nur an mir oder meiner derzeitigen Stimmung...? :) Jedenfalls trotzdem lesenswert.
