Monster romances aren‘t for me. This book proofed that to me once again. (And in my defense, I wasn’t aware that this is a monster romance – which is a mistake on my part) Though I do love the vibe of this book. It‘s Halloween feels filled up in a bottle. I also don‘t think this book or the book series as a whole should be reverse harem…because while I may feel the connection of Blythe and Ames, I don‘t feel her in more than friendship regarding the others. But her and Ames’ storyline, and this book does focus on these two, works for me quite well, and therefore in the end I did enjoy the book. In general, I don‘t feel this book as much as I hoped I would aside from the vibes. Even though I think the story is interesting, it did not really hook me. And when the whole monster romance stuff kicked in, that did not make it better. 3/5⭐️ 3/5🌶️
