Leider baut die Reihe immer mehr ab!

Dieser Roman schafft es über weite Strecken die Story gut weiterzuerzählen und auch an einigen Stellen einige überraschende Wendungen einzuleiten. Allerdings zum Ende hin hat der Plot sehr stark abgebaut und die Reihe wird leider an vielen Stellen zu kitschig und romantisch. Ich blicke allerdings positiv auf die nächsten Romane.

Es ging wieder bergauf!

Dieses Buch hat wieder frischen Wind in die Saga gebracht. Es ging wieder mehr um militärische Taktik und Schlachten. Das Ende war zwar etwas vorhersehbar, dennoch ein sehr gelungenes Buch mit einer tragischen Wendung.

More of the same basically. It get's a bit repetitive, but Campbell manages to keep the main plot interesting with many new twists and turns. I'd like him to focus more on that and keep the nearly always same battles in the background. I will definitely stay with the series.

Advanced the overall story a bit, but the plot wasn't that great, except the ending was quite fun and convinced me to try the next book. But if it can't convince me I think I stop the series there, it get's just too repetitive.
