Before everyone is stoning me I have to say I love this book like I love all the other KGI books. The story was great and I read it in two days because I could not stop. I fell in love with Steele from his first appear. I liked his badass, straight through, short clipped attitude and with every book I wanted to know more about him. Finally he got his own book and I was happy. In the beginning this book was so "Steele-Style" and then .... I don´t know how to say it.... it does not work for me. For me this was so not Steeles story. Maybe this story had fit Donovan or another KGI member but not Steele. He goes from badass commando to lovingly boy next door in a blink. I expected and missed more badass from Steele and maybe a sassy women who gets him the hot. Nonetheless it was a great read and I enjoyed it. And now I´m waiting for the next KGI story ;-)
