Description

In Fairview Heights, there’s one rule everyone knows. Don’t cross the Black Rose gang. Not if you want to live.

My father broke that rule.

Now he owes the notorious Black Roses a favor, and to make sure he pays up, they’re taking me as collateral. Until Dad completes whatever job they gave him, three gang members will be my keepers.

Sloan, Rory, and Levi.

The boss’s son.
The man with a secret.
The flame from my past.

They’re all dominant, cocky, and hot as hell, and I know from personal experience that one of them is a damn good lay.

But none of that matters. They shouldn’t be allowed to run people’s lives like this, and I don’t plan on letting them get away with it. If they’re looking for a pawn in their little game, these guys picked the wrong girl.

Because my dad raised me to be a fighter.

And I fight dirty.

Fight Dirty is the first book in the Black Rose Kisses series. This is a reverse harem new adult enemies-to-lovers romance that includes high steam, violence, and foul language.

Kicking it off with a great start. This one definitely started off really interesting. I could definitely sense that this one was written earlier than the ones I've read from the author, but I didn't really mind. It kind of really put it in perspective, how Eva grew in her writing style. This book kicks it really strong in the beginning. I love how Mercy is fierce and strong. She's trained well in fighting because of her dad and she's got quite the balls of steel. I admire that about her. And how she jumped into saving her dad with no questions asked? Damn. She must really love her dad and it was really shown in writing. The ending was crazy. How in the ever love of God did she even manage to pull off not breaking down instantly and blow her cover in front of these men. She was definitely in shock but still, it's crazy. I don't think I would've been able to keep my cool like that, especially knowing how much she really loves her dad. I hope I'm not understanding this wrong, but I felt like her relationship so far with these men were more along the lines of hatred and sexual frustration. Right? I hope that's it, cause if she already starts being real soft and loving towards them in this next book without seeing them grovel wouldn't really sit right with me. Alright, maybe with Rory I can understand, cause he's opened more than a bit of her life with her already. Introducing her to his kid. Alright, moving on!
