England during World War II. The allies are planning the invasion of the normandy. To mislead the germans they have made up a phantom army that seems to prepare an invasion at Calais. "Die Nadel" ("The Needle") is the top german spy, a uncompromissing man, trusted by the Führer. This spy finds out about the big bluff and now he is trying to bring this information to germany. A thrilling story with a strong historical background. Especially the figure of Lucy is very interesting.
