Sooo, the start of this series was definitely better than the ending, but still, it could have run much worse. What was good... well, it's MMMM, although it reads more like an MMM relationship alongside an MM one. I love that Gideon is Ace (because, hello, of course we love that!), and I liked that this was consistently followed through with zero compromise. Jai and Noel are simply sooo cute-I love that soulmate relationship. Even though it felt neglected at the beginning, the author managed to bring it home by the end. My only preference is that they could have intensified that bond a little earlier, but overall, it is a slow burn. So, relationship-wise, I really enjoyed it. What I definitely disliked was that Riley always went over to the villains. Once is acceptable, and the first time I could even understand it, but twice?? Hello??
