Sorry, aber beautiful. Und nicht nur รคuรerlich. Sie ist stark, sarkastisch, schlagfertig und verliert selbst in der absurdesten Situation nicht ihren Humor. Ich habe jede einzelne Szene mit ihr gefeiert. Und dann Lynx. Er. Ist. Zum. Niederknien. Wortwรถrtlich. Ich sage nur spiked tail. Und ja, er wird ihn benutzen. ๐ฅต Dieses Zitat auf Slide 2 hat mich komplett sprachlos zurรผckgelassen und das ist nur einer von vielen heiรen, intensiven Momenten. Diese dรผstere, possessive Energy von Devil Jr.? Ich war verloren. Wirklich verloren. ๐ Tony habe ich รผbrigens auch total ins Herz geschlossen. Ich liebe starke Side Characters, die nicht einfach nur Deko sind, sondern Prรคsenz haben, Tiefe mitbringen und immer wieder auftauchen. Genau so muss das sein. Trotzdem muss ich sagen, dass vor allem die erste Hรคlfte fรผr mich stellenweise zรคh war. Das Pacing hรคtte straffer sein kรถnnen und insgesamt ist es kein Meisterwerk geworden. Aber trotzdem? Ich habe es wirklich gerne gelesen. Was this one of the best books i have read? No, but i had fun reading it. Was it unhinged? Yes, very. And it was also bingeable. If you like paranormal romance and spice, then go for it. It will be a fun ride, but dont expect it to blow your mind.
Mit dem alten Magie-Buch der Oma und einer Beschwรถrung mรถchte sie im alten Familienanwesen ihre verstorbene Schwester kontaktieren. Leider beschwรถrt sie einen Dรคmon, der sie sieht und erstmal direkt umbringt. ๐คฃ๐ Nun sind die zwei im Anwesen gefangen โฆ der Dรคmon und die Prota als Geistโฆ was die zwei dann tun โฆ well โฆ lest selbstโฆ ein paar gute spicy Szenen sind auch dabei ๐
4 โญ๏ธ 2.5 ๐ถ๏ธ This is a whole vibe! Itโs basically spooky โsupernaturalโ with a dash of โbeing humanโ. Avina and Leigh just have a distinctive humor and I love it. The FMC Sable was so funny! The way she put her demon ๐ aka Lynx in his place was sooo good. And Lynx just donโt know how to act in this new century. I devoured this book in two sittings!

Wow, I honestly have mixed feelings about this book. I really don't know what to say... First of all, let's talk about our protagonists: On the one hand, there is Sable, who lost her sister Ella at the beginning of the story and fell into a kind of depression. She misses her sister so much that she tries to summon her sister's ghost, but Lynx appears instead. On the other hand, there is Lynx, a demon who was murdered many years ago for stealing something to finance the lives of him and his little brother Dylan. Now, however, he has been summoned by Sable and killed her directly, whereupon they are now both locked in her family's house. A demon and a ghost. The concept of this story was actually very good for me, but... When it came to an end, it slowly became boring. There was so much little communication between the two and I kind of hate the ending when they were both suddenly alive again, just because of a deal with the devils. For me it was really a very boring ending, which I think is a shame because I love both authors. Second, I'd like to talk about a character that was mentioned too much for me: Ella. Don't get me wrong, it's okay that Sable is sad because her sister is dead, but I was annoyed by the fact that Sable kept thinking she was the problem, when in fact it was her sister. That's the reason for me, as hard as it sounds, why death was something like karma for Ella tbh... Third, I was so happy for Lynx when he saw that Dylan named his child after his brother. One of my favorite scenes. Would I recommend the book to others? I'm not sure, in my opinion this is a book where everyone should decide for themselves whether to give it a chance or not.

Die Geschichte ist zwar traurig aber auch schรถn. An einigen Stellen musste ich sehr lachen, an anderen musste ich mir eine Trรคne wegwischen. Die ersten 100 Seiten muss man erstmal รผberstehen, aber der Plot, der dann kommt, lohnt sich. Manche Stellen verwirren oder machen nicht zu 100% Sinn, aber alles in allem hat es Spaร gemacht, das Buch zu lesen und ich kann es als entspannte Lektรผre nebenbei nur empfehlen.
