First: I’d like to thanks the author for allowing me to read this book as an ARC. I most of the time avoid books under 300 pages for a reason: they’re generally rushed and of poor quality. I launched myself in this read, not knowing what to expect. But I liked it a lot. In only 25 chapters, we have something complete, detailed and enjoyable. The two main characters weren’t flat, which is rare for books this length. Even if you don’t follow tennis, the story is so well balanced that you’re not lost during tennis scenes, and don’t find they too long. Everything in this book is short and concise, offering a clear comprehension of the story. As for the romance side of the book, i’m completely in love with this couple. The spice scenes are great, and we can feel Matteo’s feelings even though we don’t have his POV. It’s a short-ish book, with so much depth, and so enjoyable
