Dokkaebi ist genau so gut wie Gumiho. Ich liebe nicht nur das Cover, sondern auch die Figuren. Die Geschichte ist spannend und so magisch, voller Handlung. Ich hatte wegen der Sprache zwar ein bisschen, bis in die Geschichte hineingefunden habe, aber danach konnte ich das Buch einfach nicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Es hat einen Hauch von Enemies to Lovers, was mir mega gefallen hat. Ausserdem ist der Schreibstil echt gut und ich konnte das Buch kaum mehr aus den Händen legen. Der Hintergrund der Geschichte, nämlich die koreanische Mythologie, interessiert mich sehr, daher hat das Buch auch einen echt guten Einblick in diese Welt geboten. Das Buch hat von allem ein bisschen was. Es gibt Liebe, Freundschaft, aber auch Neid und Verzweiflung, Spannung und Gefahr. Fazit: Ich kann das Buch auf allen Ebenen weiterempfehlen. Ganz ehrlich: Allein das Cover hat mich bereits überzeugt :) Doch auch die Geschichte berührt und lässt die Lesenden mitfiebern und zittern.

Overall I really loved this book but I just hated how they treated Junu almost this entire book, he deserved so much better. They literally bullied him almost the entire book, and this hate they had for him was a bit too much for me, that’s why it’s not a 5 ⭐️ read for me. But I still loved the story and the happy ending for Junu and Somin even tho she really annoyed me at times
