“You know where the Doctor is! Wherever there are people in trouble, wherever there’s danger. Wherever there’s cruelty or intolerance. Wherever there are mad kings and wicked tyrants, the Doctor and her friends will be there to help those who need her the most." I was so excited to read about the Thirteenth Doctor! I wasn’t really invested in the story but it had quite a few good moments. What I think was the most interesting aspect of it was the misogyny the Doctor had to face. I think now that we have a female Doctor, there are new opportunities to portray this issue. Not only that, the story also tackled racism. The portrayal of the characters was on point and loved that Bradley Walsh and The Chase is canon in the Doctor Who universe. I also enjoyed finding out who the Good Doctor was, it was quite a funny mix-up! I really hope Juno Dawson writes another Doctor Who book because I really liked the humour in this book and she portrayed the characters quite well.
