I don't know how to rate this because of the context in which the story was written. As already mentioned in the 2024 version of the book I have and in some comments I've read, there is the militaristic part of the story, also the political beliefs of the author are problematic which you may can or cannot identify in the story. For me I like the style of writing to be honest, I love how nature is described. In different contexts I see the problems. Sentences can have different meanings. Having this all in mind I think there are very beautiful sides and messages and problematic ones in the book.
