And yet while the farm may be called Diddly Squat for good reason, Jeremy soon begins to understand that it's worth a whole lot more to him than pounds, shillings and pence . . .

Unterhaltsam, wenn man „Clarksons Farm“ gesehen hat
Jeremy Clarksons Humor ist speziell und man muss ihn definitiv mögen. Ich habe zuvor Clarksons Farm gesehen und fand die Art, wie man mit kompletten Unwissen und zwei linken Händen, doch etwas sinnvolles erschaffen kann, sehr erfrischend. Im Buch erhält man ein paar Zusatzinfos, jedoch in Kollumnenform und unsere Lieblingscharakter wie Gerald, Charly oder Kaleb sind reine Randnotizen oder werden gar nicht erwähnt. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich mich in der englischen Agrargesetzgebung nicht auskenne und daher nicht bewerten kann, wie substanziell Clarksons Kritik daran ist. Ich würde dieses Buch auch nicht lesen, um mich politisch zu positionieren. Es ist super unterhaltsam geschrieben und das Englisch ist meist leicht zu verstehen, außer ein paar Fachbegriffe, die man ergoogeln kann oder sich aus dem Kontext erschließen kann. Ich hab mich gut unterhalten gefühlt und hatte beim Lesen einige Bilder aus der Serie im Kopf.
